Join the United Kingdom Council for Access and Equality (UKCAE)

UKCAE is a membership body funded by membership fees and licensing fees.

There are three categories of membership of UKCAE:

  • Founder Members: during the interim period each Founder Member nominates a person to sit as a Director on the Governing Body of UKCAE. It is this Governing Body that manages UKCAE on behalf of the membership.
  • General Members: Corporate, Individual, Charity
  • Council of Reference Members: individual people with a disability, or a charity or not-for-profit organisation working on their behalf, who are general Members but are invited to sit on the Council of Reference and act as the first point of consultation and advice for the Governing Body.

UKCAE Founder Members comprise a cross-representation of UK private and public sector organisations.

Each Founder Member nominates a Director who will sit on the UKCAE Governing Body for three years.
